Description

First Art Trade as done with :iconrareware64:. Basically, it has Valerie Brown from Josie and the Pussycats & Jack Spicer from Xiaolin Showdown trying to get this bell-shaped time machine that rareware has some knowledge about called Die Glocke from South America (here, I had it stuck in Macando, Colombia because of a shout-out to 100 Years of Solitude which I'll have to deal with in my Latin American Literature subject tomorrow). Along the way, they encounter the head of the Macando army forces Colonel Aureliano Buendia, one of the characters featured in the novel. Yep, Jack Spicer and the Colonel are having an argument here.

Yes, it is a belated tribute of sorts to Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the writer of the novel who had passed away just recently last April, with Macando and Colonel Aureliano Buendia . And for some reason, Colonel Buendia almost reminded me of Antonio Luna in looks and some parts of their personalities too.

And oh, that is my real signature in the lower left corner too. So don't be surprised if ever I decided to draw and place my real signature somewhere in the drawing too.

Josie and the Pussycats (C) Dan DeCarlo, Archie Comics and Warner Bros./ Hanna-Barbera
Xiaolin Showdown (C) Christy Hui and Warner Bros.
